Education makes options. Ali makes results.
Every time I see the LSE being mentioned by the public, the majority of the focus is on its postgraduates.
"LSE Masters students are the face of the university"
"It is known for its postgraduate courses and that is what makes it special"
"Undergraduate students will always be in their shadow"
Wrong. Could not be further from the truth. We will not let their superior age and experience undermine the vital role that we play in shaping future outcomes for the LSE. We will not allow the fact that there are considerably more postgraduates at the school than us to fend of the power we possess when it comes to the student experience.
My name is Ali Majeed and I am only running for "Undergraduate Officer" for one reason and one reason only. Given that most of us will be at the LSE for triple the time compared with postgraduates, it is only fair if we have triple the voice when making decisions. This is our place of study, but it is also where we thrive as individuals - whether that be socially, responsibility or integrity.
Join me and we truly can do something special here.
