I'm Belle, a first-year economics student, thrilled to be a candidate for the position of Undergraduate Officer. After connecting with undergraduate students, I've identified three main challenges I'm determined to tackle if elected:
- Space for Success: Have you struggled to find a study spot in the Library? I've been there too! As your Undergraduate Officer, I'll passionately advocate for more study spaces on campus, ensuring you have the room you need to excel academically.
- Bridging the Information Gap: Feeling overwhelmed by scattered resources? I propose consolidating platforms like Student Hub and Moodle into one user-friendly website for easy access to essential resources.
- Easing Academic Stress: In our competitive environment, stress is common. I'll organize more social events for relaxation and connection with peers, while also increasing mental health resources and support services.
My experience as a school prefect and mental health ambassador has taught me the value of listening to students and crafting practical solutions for academic and mental health needs.
