You want resolution? Aysha’s got your solution!

Hi! I'm Aysha! I'm studying MSc Political Sociology. I have 3 years experience at City, UOL as a representative where I helped create a bridge between students and faculty. I am Academic Representative for my course, which emphasises my commitment. I have included 3 main goals.

1.Budgeting

I aim to work towards improving LSE's budget structure. I would campaign for more financial support for postgraduates, I would advocate for financing workshops. I suggest that funds go towards cheaper student meals and activities. I would like more funding towards academic writing support for foreign PG students.

2. Inclusion

I advocate for diversity and building a safer and inclusive space at LSE. I would focus momentarily on halal options and meat free meals. Access to inclusive meals fosters focused and healthier students! I would like to see more prayer rooms and faith centres.

3. Mental health and disability

In LSE, receiving mental health and disability support has long wait times and limited sessions. I would work towards using funds to allow for more sessions and to speed up the process of receiving support. Mental health struggles and disabilities dont only impact studies but also quality of life, it is severely underfunded and needs attention.

Thank you! :)
