Vote Hela for YOU(nis) - Neurodivergent and Disabled Students' PTO
Hello!
I'm Hela Younis, a second-year ISPP student and the current Neurodivergent and Disabled Students’ Officer 2024-25. I loved my position so much that I’m running again for 2025-26!
As your representative, I have cultivated relationships with key stakeholders at LSE to push for more progress and less bureaucracy. From listening to your voices in focus groups and creating a report of your demands, to advocating for your needs in working groups with C-suite execs, EDI, SWS and beyond, I have the experience and the network to make a difference.
A vote for Hela is a vote for:
- Reformed accessibility:
- We need all buildings on campus to be truly accessible, once and for all.
- We need different MyAdjustments for different people; surprisingly, not all disabilities disappear with 25% extra time.
- Reformed community network:
- We need spaces for disabled students to support eachother, share valuable resources and champion themselves to their student officer (me!).
- Accountability in advocacy:
- You need a candidate who will be your voice. In my upright commitment to represent you, I will lobby for policies that you care about—such as the 89% vote for divestment.
A vote for Hela is a vote for YOU!
