Chaudhry for Change

As a postgraduate student after three years as an undergrad at LSE,  I hope to further student outcomes with the position of Postgraduate Officer.

1. As an international student at LSE for the last three years, and having worked on minority representation and anti-racism initiatives, I hope to hold inter-community events and platforming diverse cultures at LSE.

2. Having taken up elected office within LSE in the past, I hope to focus directly on engaging the Board of Trustees on the general direction of the LSE in a Covid-environment, with particular focus on online teaching, support networks, scholarship expansions and mental health support.

3. Working with the IT services at LSE, I want to make 'cloud communication' much easier this year, allowing students with similar departments, backgrounds and interests to be able to more easily connect and foster relationships with another through a messaging service that works for all.

4. I hope to hold Monthly Virtual Town Halls during my tenure, allowing postgrad students at LSE to question me and follow up on proposals given by the community every four weeks to ensure I both fulfil and build on my manifesto promises in the rapidly changing environment this year.
