ANAMIKA AHIR

Covid, Lectures, Virtually Bored? Let's take it to the Board!

Namaste!

My name is Anamika and I am from India. Before joining LSE, I have gained extensive work experience in law enforcement and securities regulation while working with the securities market regulator of India for 7 years. I am currently on a sabbatical for pursuing an LL.M. I have been awarded the Chevening Scholarship and the Mansion House Scholarship this year. I have a keen interest in academic strategy, and I wish to promote responsive and participative academic governance. Having gained access to one of the largest networks of scholars, I can learn about the innovative academic practices implemented by a large number of universities for maximizing the student experience. Due to this, I believe that as a member of the academic board, I can make well informed and meaningful contributions for improving the academic experience of students at LSE in this challenging time.
