Support!

The pandemic has shown that students’ input is often an afterthought. Post-Covid, I will ensure that student voices are central to decision-making.
  • Review of training for academic mentors to offer better support.
  • Fighting for increased staff accountability to students with close ties to SSLC.
  • Expanding student research opportunities.
  • Supporting current SU campaigns.

Accessibility!

This year, we’ve seen the benefits of assessment diversification and that LSE can be more accessible for all.
  • Review of assessment diversification, ensuring flexibility for those who need it.
  • Easier course selection internally and with other UoL institutions.
  • Lobbying for a ‘Reading Week’ for Quant students.
  • Digital access for all, with in-person lectures recorded as standard.

Collaboration!

The LSE experience is defined by working across disciplines. We need to get our academic community back.
  • Increased cross-department collaboration to ensure dual-degree students aren’t forgotten.
  • Bringing LSESU society leaders into decision-making to tackle the educational issues students care about, including climate change and closing the BAME attainment gap.
  • Working with the Community and Welfare Officer to ensure that LSE recognises how students’ physical and mental health affects their work.
