Hi, I’m Maha and I’m running for AU Exec as I believe the AU fundamentally shapes everyone’s uni experience! As a member of Netball, I’ve met so many new people, made new friends and had a lot of fun :P I want to ensure that the AU is the best part of the experience for EVERYONE!

Having planned and executed events such as Balls for over 700 people, and being in different SU committees, I have more than enough experience to run events and think that, on top of my enthusiasm, I have the organisational skills to improve the AU in terms of:

• Making it more inclusive! Ensuring events are as affordable as possible (e.g. Ball Tickets below £50). Introducing more daytime socials, to cater to those who are less keen on late night motives.
• An increase in funding for the AU! Better support for fundraisers, finding sponsors and lobbying the uni.
• Having more inter-sport socials and competitions! LSEAU Sports Day!
• A more ‘sporty’ uni because I love all things sport! More matches and competitions as well as greater celebrations and more training for those who want to compete in their respective sports.
