My name is Humza, and I am running for A&D officer. The pandemic has ruined our student experience and my goal is to help LSE societies build back better and revive the buzz of campus. My experience includes serving on the executive committee of two societies and as an AU member. I have worked closely with the SU and understand what works well and have identified what needs to improve.
- Collaborate with culture/faith societies to create a more inclusive campus.
LSE has an incredibly diverse community and students should have the opportunity to explore their peers' culture/faith.
- Encourage collaboration between the AU and SU through Inter-LSE sports tournaments, and improve access to sports facilities.
LSE sports facilities should be accessible to all students to provide a better student experience.
- Improve the advisory service and transparency with funding opportunities to aid students in organising events to make the process smoother.
The process of organising and funding events can be overwhelming. I will make this process easier by utilising SU funds more effectively, increasing the opportunities for students to socialise.
Together we can make LSE better!!!
