Adapt. Connect. Make Change
The 2020-2021 school year at LSE has been anything but normal. International students, in particular have had to face moving to a new city during a pandemic, navigating new friendships in unideal circumstances, as well as balancing a full course load. Other students have been unable to attend campus and have been trying to have an LSE experience from all remote corners of the world. Although, this has been challenging and has caused hardship for both students and staff alike, there are many takeaways from this. Despite the isolation, we have found innovative ways to celebrate, grieve, study, and work.
What does this tell me? That as a community we are creative. We are adaptable. And no matter what corner of the world we are from we crave the connections, education, and network that LSE has to offer.
I would be so honored to represent the passionate, hardworking, and bright people I have had the opportunity to meet both on and offline. I hope to work towards building a stronger LSE network and pride that will extend beyond London to all the corners of the world we represent as a student body.
