TATIANA HOPE MARIE DUBOIS

As the Founder and President of the Global Luxury Business society, I have experienced first-hand the importance of interacting with an active network of professionals alongside studying.

At the GLBS, we focus on establishing and growing a network from diverse sectors in luxury business. I initiated this as my interests lie in the luxury and I did not find a pre-established network specific to luxury at LSE.  My motivation in driving this society is bringing together people with similar interests. Our events will serve as inspiration and guidance for students exploring different career paths. There is no better source of knowledge than from experienced actors.  My aspiration as Careers Network chair would be to grow this network between students and professionals beyond the luxury industry within all LSE societies. I believe especially at the moment with COVID-19 and the way we as students have had to adapt our learning, being able to interact with professionals and learn from them directly through online events has become particularly valuable. We must remain resilient in facing an ever-changing environment and relying on active players in different industries will provide us with the tools to do this.
