LSESU is not short of national societies! You can check out the full list of national and cultural societies on this page. Becoming a part of a society is a great way to find home away from home, and get to know students who come from a similar background to you.

LSESU has seven Part-Time Officers who represent students at the highest level of the Students’ Union. The International Students Officer is one of these! They are tasked with representing international students in the SU’s Executive Committee, and will also often be a representative within university spaces. This means that international students will always have a voice advocating on their behalf in these spaces. You can find out how to get in touch with this year’s International Students Officer here.

LSE has a great webpage for international students here, and it’s LSE that is best-placed to help with any visa or immigration advice that you may need. You can get visa advice and find out how to contact the team here

DID YOU KNOW?

International students are eligible to access LSE’s Student Support Fund and LSESU’s Hardship Fund! We know that it can sometimes be difficult to find financial support as an international student in the UK, but as long as your financial difficulties are unforeseen, the Financial Support Office and Hardship Fund Panel is able to consider an application from any registered student.

The LSESU Advice Service offers an open and inclusive service on a range of issues such as housing, academic and funding support to all current students at the LSE. For more information visit Advice Service.
