The Athletics Union (AU) is the body containing all sports clubs at LSESU, at the core of all sports-led social events and activity.
The AU Executive represents all AU Club Members. The Exec consists of the AU President, AU Engagement Officer and four general AU Exec members and they are all elected by LSE students. They work closely with the Activities & Development Officer and the SU to develop sport at LSE, supporting AU Committees and Captains and leading on the organisation of AU events and activities.
Events and services
Before you become a member of a AU Sports Club you need to purchase an AU Membership which allows you to be part of all AU activities.
You can attend events, activities and opportunities provided by the AU.
The AU runs campaigns and fundraisers which all members of the AU are encouraged to be involved in.
To be able to join a sports club at the LSESU, you must be a member of the Athletic Union and buy membership at the same time. This allows you to attend any of our event and join any of our sports clubs. Its £7.50 for the whole year.
