Students attending a consent education demonstration

We’re here to help you make change during your time at LSE – whether you want to change something about LSE, or beyond!

LSESU's Campaigns Hub exists to support student campaigners at LSE. We can help you lead your own campaign or you can attend sessions to build up your skills to help others, as well as be the first to hear about new campaigns on campus.

At present, we are providing support to the following student-led campaigns:

  • The Mental Health Collective - the Collective wants to open up the conversation about mental health, ensure LSE supports students consistently across departments, and work with employers so that students are supported after graduation.
  • Justice 4 Cleaners - after bringing LSE Cleaners in house two years ago, the School has consistently failed to live up to its promises of better conditions and pay. J4C is mix of students and cleaners who are determined to bring justice for cleaners.
  • Climate Emergency Collective - last year, the CEC wrote an open letter to LSE’s Directorate asking for a commitment to carbon neutrality by 2030. This year the campaign will return to push for more and better commitments to fight the climate emergency.
  • Hands Off - sexual harassment and violence on campus has been an ongoing issue, and are working with the School to improve the process of reporting sexual misconduct, alongside hosting discussions and workshops.
  • Black Lives Matter - after the racist killings of Breonna Taylor and Ahmaud Arbery, a group of students have  started organising for racial justice at LSE.
  • Make LSE Queer Again - although the Gay Liberation Front started at LSE, LGBT students at LSE have recognised that the School has a long way to go to in support LGBT students. This campaign will focus on more financial, emotional and social support for all queer students.
