What is the AU?

The AU is a body of more than 40 sports clubs. Clubs are groups of students who share a passion for sport and come together to play friendlies, compete locally and nationally, or participate in socials. There is something for everyone, from beginners with an interest in trying something new, to top-level athletes competing in BUCS and LUSL. Keep an eye on this page and follow the AU Facebook and Instagram to stay up to date with the latest news.

The AU Exec represents all AU Club members. The Exec consists of the AU President, AU Engagement Officer and 4 general AU Exec members and they are all elected by LSE students. They work closely with the Activities & Development Officer and the SU to develop sport at LSE, support AU communities and lead on the organisation of AU events. Before you become a member of an AU Sports Club, you need to purchase an AU Membership which allows you to be part of all AU activities.
