The 2019 LSE Economics Symposium has the theme “The Next Great Crisis”, and it is an event where we aim to promote a discussion of the new risks to the global economy, timed ten years since the downturn of 2008. Areas of discussion will include finance, politics and technology among others. The Symposium will bring together leading figures from academia, commerce and politics to provide unparalleled insight into the present risks and stir further thinking and conversations in this area.We plan to invite up to 100 participants with 4 panels sessions through the event.
