What I studied

I have just completed my second year of BSc Sociology. I’ll be taking a sabbatical from my degree this year to undertake this role! 

How I was involved with LSESU before becoming an officer

In my first year I co-founded Student Action for Refugees (STAR) society, and I was also an event officer for RAG. In my second year I become Vice President of RAG, and continued being President of STAR. I was also awarded LSESU Activist of the Year 2024. 

What I'm looking to achieve this year

My key priorities are to make activities work for you, stamp out the problems and discrimination at LSE that are dividing our community, and unleash and empower all students so that everyone is free to thrive.

One tip for making the most out of LSE

As much as university is about studying and gaining a qualification, it’s also about meeting people and having fun! With over 250 sports clubs, societies and campaigns at LSESU, my top tip would be to just put yourself out there, go to a club or a society you’re passionate about and get involved! You don’t have to be an expert to get involved either, student groups are so welcoming and you’ll make friends for life!
