Your Activities and Communities Officer is responsible for over 200 student clubs and societies at LSESU, as well as looking after the wider communities within the university.

During my PG year at LSE, I was mainly involved in the World Student Alliance society. I really enjoyed being part of events that brought together students from different universities, because it gave me a chance to meet people outside my own department and see a much bigger student community beyond LSE.
I was also involved in pushing forward the formal dinner policy to strengthen the cross-departmental connections.
This year, I want to create more opportunities for students to meet people outside their usual circles. LSE can sometimes feel very course-based, so I would love to bring more students together through cross-department, cross-society and cross-university events!
Say yes to things outside your comfort zone. Go to an event even if none of your friends are going, or start a conversation with someone new. Some of the best parts of LSE happen outside the classroom.
