What I studied at LSE
I study BSc International Relations at LSE.
How I was involved with LSESU before becoming an officer
Before becoming an officer, I was involved across different parts of LSESU as Speaker Events Officer and now Secretary of the International Development Society, First Year Academic Representative for the International Relations Department, and Events Officer on the Government Society Subcommittee. This year, I’m also serving as a Marketing Officer as a part of the Executive team, continuing to stay involved in building student engagement and community across campus.
What I’m looking to achieve this year
This year, I want to make LSE a more inclusive and empowering space for students from Black, Asian, and diverse heritage backgrounds. My priorities include tackling systemic barriers in academic and professional spaces, expanding conversations around race in the workplace, and working with different parts of the LSE community to improve access to opportunities and strengthen student representation.
One tip for making the most out of LSE
Say yes to opportunities you don’t feel completely ready for. Some of the most meaningful parts of the LSE experience happen outside the classroom through conversations, societies, events, and putting yourself in spaces where you can learn from people with completely different perspectives.
