I've studied for a BSc in Social Anthropology and a minor in politics! This means that 75% of my degree explored different human cultures and societies and the political, economic, family, and religious systems that influence people’s beliefs, values and practices. For the modules taken with the Department of Politics, I looked at politics and policies of the EU as well as the Middle East.

I have always enjoyed being involved in amplifying the voices and needs of students, so I served as the Academic Representative for my cohort in the Department of Anthropology during my 2nd and 3rd years here.

Additionally, during my third year, I was elected to the Democracy Committee, where I held LSE accountable during policy-making processes to ensure they continued to align with your demands.

3. You’re an adult, we need convenient assessment policies that work with YOUR schedule. I'm pushing for two extensions per year for all students, where no approval is needed!

The SINGLE most important advice: ASK!

LSE and the Student Union have an abundance of resources, support and service to help you with anything that you may need, or simply want. There is constant 1-2-1 career advice, aid to strengthen your language and writing skills, financial support and mental health support too! This list is endless – you only need to reach your hand. Contact your Academic mentor, Department staff, LSE LIFE, the Student Union (and Elected Officers, ofcourse), Alumni etc.
