Freedom of Mind LSE: Art + Zine Launch

Wednesday 09 October 2019
6:45pm - 7:45pm
6th Floor Studio, Saw Swee Hock Building

What’s the link between art and our mental health? Can art be used as a tool to help alleviate mental health issues? What are art’s therapeutic powers?

Come along to the 6th floor of the SU to listen to our excellent and experienced speaker, Val Huet, CEO of the British Association of Art Therapists (BAAT), address these questions and much more.

That’s not all... Freedom of Mind has collaborated with Clare Market Review to bring you a zine full of creative responses to the theme of mental health. These will be up for display, so make sure you stay after the talk to look at the art and have a chat about mental health.

Give your second week of uni the artistic nourishment it deserves. See you there! ??

We would like to thank the LSE Students’ Union Fund for their support in funding this event.

Make sure you register for your free ticket here!
