Greenwich Ecology Park
Join us for a day out doors in London's wildlife! Never volunteered before? Not to worry, our one-off volunteering programme is designed to introduce you to the world of volunteering.
Greenwich Peninsula Ecology Park is made up of four acres of freshwater habitat and is home to a fascinating array of wildlife! Volunteers will be working as part of a team with the park wardens, carrying out tasks such as pond clearing, reed cutting, meadow cutting, coppicing (cutting smaller tree stems), digging and weeding.
The work is simple and you'll be guided by the wardens: no previous experience is needed. Volunteers do need to be reasonably fit and prepared to get muddy
