LSESU Active LifeStyle gives you opportunities to play sport and get involved in physical activity during your time at LSE.
From drop-in sessions, beginner courses, inter-hall leagues and one-off events, we offer a wide range of activities for you to create your own active life, take some time out from the books and de-stress. Being active even just for 30 minutes a day has shown to have a positive impact on your physical and mental wellbeing, so why not take a break and get involved!

Yoga is a centuries-old method of improving physical condition and focusing the mind. LSESU runs free Vinhasa-style yoga classes for PhD students every week. All skill and experience levels are welcome - especially complete beginners who have never done yoga before.
Sessions take place every Tuesday (3-4pm) and Thursday (2-3pm), in the LSESU Exercise Studio on the 6th Floor, Saw Swee Hock Student Centre. Mats are provided, but please make sure you are wearing comfortable clothing.
