The Students’ Union is campaigning against the current changes to higher education currently being pushed through by the UK Government.

We believe these changes represent an attack on higher education as we know it in the UK. The driving force behind this is the Teaching Excellence Framework, or 'TEF', which ranks universities’ educational quality as either gold, silver or bronze. TEF allows all universities to increase their fees every year, without ensuring that they invest this extra money—or any additional money at all—into improving the education we receive in the classroom. TEF is bad news for both LSE students and higher education

These pages have been created for you to read up on what these changes are and what their impact will be on higher education. We want students to be informed and join us in campaigning against this attack.
