Democracy Committee

Your Democracy Committee has been elected to make sure that democractic processes at LSESU run smoothly and are open to everyone. These include everything from Town Halls to Elections.

What does the committee do?

The committee works with students to develop their Policy Proposals, chairs Town Halls and Student Panels, confirms the democratic calendar and act as the main point of contact for students who want to get involved in LSESU's democracy. The Returning Officer also sits on the Democracy Committee and deals with any issues or complaints during LSESU’s elections. You can read the Committee's Report to see what they achieved last term.
