Home Students 'Pub Quiz'

At the start of every term we give students the chance to attend free taster sessions.

Give It A Go

Give It A Go is all about exploring LSESU’s amazing, student-led sports clubs, societies and the media group societies. At the start of every term we give students (non-members) the chance to attend free taster sessions with some of our best clubs and societies to see what they’re really like without having to pay membership to join.

These different activities will fall under 5 different themes: Get Active, Learn A Skill, Relax and Socialise, Be Creative, and Share Your Culture, so you will get a flavour of what to expect from the Give It A Go session before you go!

Home Students 'Pub Quiz'

Tuesday 04 October 2016

6pm - 9:30pm

LSESU Weston Café - 6th floor of the Students' Union Building

The Home Students Society is entering its sophomore year!

This year we don't want to just host more events for more people, we want to create a strong, friendly community that's as welcoming as any found in halls.

Our 'Pub Quiz' is going to be an excellent way for individuals to show off their natural LSE competitive streak, as well as offering the opportunity to meet new people from all years! It will be a great ice-breaker and will be all inclusive (doesn't matter what year your in, what course your on, whether you are a postgraduate, or a mature student, and definitely won't matter if you drink or not!).

Areas covered will include the traditional, such as geography and popular culture, but there will also be LSE and 'commuter' specific rounds, which hopefully will add to a strong sense of community and belonging!

Snacks and drinks will be provided!

Prizes for the winning team will be up for grabs.

There will also be the opportunity to mingle and meet people who may commute from the same area! There's nothing worse than coming back from a night at Saucy on your own! If you share a LSE100 lecture on a Monday morning, you've may find a travel buddy to share the pain. (For example!)

It will also be an excellent chance for new potential members to really shape this new society, and suggest any ideas for the year ahead. We'll be presenting our exciting ideas for the year ahead, too!

Places are limited! To reserve your place and guarantee entry (as well as receiving updates about any room changes) just request a free ticket.

If you are a new student starting at LSE and you have not registered in LSE yet, then you will need to create a guest account on this website to reserve a place. Get started by clicking Options (top right) then 'Guest Account'.
