Human Rights Movie Night

At the start of every term we give students the chance to attend free taster sessions.

Give It A Go

Give It A Go is all about exploring LSESU’s amazing, student-led sports clubs, societies and the media group societies. At the start of every term we give students (non-members) the chance to attend free taster sessions with some of our best clubs and societies to see what they’re really like without having to pay membership to join.

These different activities will fall under 5 different themes: Get Active, Learn A Skill, Relax and Socialise, Be Creative, and Share Your Culture, so you will get a flavour of what to expect from the Give It A Go session before you go!

Human Rights Movie Night

Wednesday 05 October 2016

7pm - 9:30pm

LSESU Activities Studio - 6th floor of the Students’ Union Building

The Human Rights Movie Night will provide students a great environment to learn about human rights by watching the award winning Human Rights Film Festival featured film, The Crossing. The movie is a first-hand account of the perilous journey made by a group of Syrian refugees. Traversing land and sea on an old fishing boat manned by smugglers, the nail-biting journey leads to Europe where the refugees disperse. There will be snacks and drinks provided and after the movie we can all head to the pub to socialise and get to know each other better.

Places are limited! To reserve your place and guarantee entry (as well as receiving updates about any room changes) just request a free ticket.

If you are a new student starting at LSE and you have not registered in LSE yet, then you will need to create a guest account on this website to reserve a place. Get started by clicking Options (top right) then 'Guest Account'.
