Managing Finances & Funding Workshop

For your group to run effectively, it is vitally important that committee members manage the group’s finances prudently. This workshop will help you do this by building on your knowledge of the LSESU finance processes, before taking an in depth look at budgeting. This will aim to give you the knowledge and skills to budget your groups finances effectively, whether for an individual event or over the course of the year, to help ensure that your group finish the year in the black.

The Committee Leadership Academy is a training program designed at equipping student groups with the key knowledge and skills to be able to effectively manage a Society or Sports club at LSE.

This program offers a series of free, online and face to face workshops to Student group committee members on topics such as Leadership and Group Management, Managing Events and Marketing and Communications. Sessions are delivered straight from the Student Activities team, in collaboration with other departments within the Students Union and the University. Online modules and workshops will be released throughout the year, with the main Workshop conference happening in June.
