The LSE SU Malaysia Club proudly presents, MVoice, an annual singing competition for all Malaysian students in the UK.
Back for its fourth installment, we are excited to gather everyone for two nights of great music with two categories namely solo and group (two vocalists or more)! This year, MVoice London is proud to announce that we are moving to The Venue located at the Saw Swee Hock Student Centre.
SOLO
AUDITION
Auditions will take place from the 19th of October to 11.59 pm 13th of November. Participants are required to send a video of themselves singing to lsemvoice@gmail.com. 7 participants will be chosen via votes (number of likes on the Facebook video and 3 participants will be chosen by the judges)
PRELIMINARIES
Date : 3rd December 2016
Time : 7.00 pm
Venue : The Venue, Saw Swee Hock Student Centre
Competition structure:
1) Top 10 contestants from audition will have to perform a song.
2) Audience vote (40%) and judges score (60%) will determine the best 4 singers who will be secured , 6 other singers move on to the danger zone..
3) The 6 singers in the danger zone would be given the chance to sing again
4) Out of the 6, the judges would save 2 to proceed to the next stage with the other 4, a total of 6 proceeding to the Semi Finals.
SEMI FINALS & FINALS
Date : 4th December 2016
Time : 7.00 pm
Venue : The Venue, Saw Swee Hock Student Centre
Competition Structure:
Semifinals - Contestants will compete in a one-on-one sing off where judges will be asked to pick a winner in each sing off.
The winner will be safe from the elimination while the other will remain in the danger zone. The judges will then pick one contestant from the danger zone to go to the finals.
Finals - One solo song, which is based on 60% by judges and 40% by votes
GROUP (TWO VOCALISTS OR MORE)

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)!
1) Can I sing in other languages?
Yes you can! We do not have any restriction in terms of language!
2) How do I vote for my friends?
You can do so by liking their Facebook video on our event page. Only the likes on the videos we posted will be counted as votes!
3) Is band under the solo or group category?
It depends on the number of vocalists. If there are two or more vocalists, the act will be placed under the group category.
4) When is the deadline to submit audition videos?
13th of November 23:59! The earlier you submit your video, the more advantageous it is as you will have more time to garner votes!
