Graduation is an exciting occasion that brings a lot of joy, but it can also create stress due to obligatory expenses. If you’re set to graduate and experiencing financial hardship, the LSESU has two Graduation Support Funds that can help by waving the full gown hire fee and/or cover the cost of a photography session.
No student should miss out because of not being able to afford the costs associated with hiring a gown, nor should they miss out on capturing photos of this achievement. These funds are for any student who is set to graduate in December and cannot currently afford the costs.
Applications for both of these funds will remain open until October 30th, 2023, at 12:00pm (noon) BST. Students can apply to one or both of these funds depending on their individual financial circumstances. To apply:
- Fill out the application form (found on this webpage)
- Submit the form AND your most recent bank statement(s) to su.advice@lse.ac.uk before the deadline of October 30th, 2023, at 12:00pm (noon) BST.
