The Turkish Society of the London School of Economics is a student society that aims to bring together the Turkish speaking community and students of any nationality interested in Turkey and the Turkish culture. We aim to promote awareness and understanding of the cultural, educational, political, social and historical aspects of Turkey and Turkish speaking countries. Membership to this society will be open to all members of the LSE Students' Union who have an appreciation for Turkish culture, food, and politics.
Through a number of events including political and economic debates, career talks and gatherings as dinners or social events, the society is eager to contribute to the multicultural atmosphere at the LSE and bring together a diverse and multicultural group of people with a common interest in Turkish culture. Our annual calendar consists of events including regular socials and trips, football and movie screenings and national celebrations.
