The LSE Sports Ambassador programme recognises and rewards exceptional sporting talent, sportsmanship and leadership amongst our students.
It aims to support and develop students who are high-level athletes in any recognised sport to pursue their chosen sporting career and develop sport leadership skills.
By becoming an LSE Sports Ambassador you will be representing the LSE sporting community on campus and beyond. For 2016-17, the programme will include three tiers of Sports Ambassador to represent a wider variety of high-level sport at LSE: Gold and Silver Ambassadors will typically represent their country at international level, be involved in a national development squad or trialling process.
Grants of varying sizes will also help successful applicants with training, equipment, travel and tournament registration costs.
Bronze Ambassadors will have demonstrated 1st-team success in an AU club, and be recognised as leaders within LSESU sport.
Bronze Ambassadors may receive a small prize bursary in recognition of their achievements and/or funding to go towards sports leadership qualifications.
