Happy holidays from LSesu
It's been a really weird year. And it's not over yet and that's why we're offering you a festive helping hand to see you right through to the end. Whether you're traveling home or abroad, or staying in London or on campus, we've got lots lined up to keep you entertained, supported, and feeling festive. Your SU will be closed from Dec 18th to Jan 4th to give staff a well-earned break. We can't wait to welcome you back in January in true LSESU style.
Join our Happy Holidays Takeover from wherever you are in the world and be in with the chance of winning a massive £200! We've also put our Santa on and we've been busy creating and delivering care packages for our students staying in Halls in London. If you haven't got one yet, check in with your Halls reception.
things to do in London
Despite being in Tier 3, there is still loads to do in London over the holidays. You can check out some socially distanced events, get your skates on some of London's most iconic venues and even in the dullest winter ever you can see London sparkle and twinkle in the night. LSE are also hosting some amazing activities to keep you entertained and connected including online team challenges, calligraphy workshop, and Crepes on the Square - you can find out all the info here. Your fellow students are also hosting a range of activities via clubs and societies, keep up-to-date with the latest events, and get involved!
gET FIT FOR FREE!
The LSESU GYM will remain open to all LSE students and staff, whether you're a member or not! The Gym will be open from Dec 21st to Jan 3rd from 10am - 6pm (excl. Dec 24th, 25th, 25th, 26th, 28th & Jan 1st). Due to London being in Tier 3, Active Lifestyle Classes will not be taking place at this time.
Help & Support
We know that the holiday season can be a difficult time for so many people and this year is even tougher. While our advice service is closed from Dec 18th to Jan 4th, you can still access LSE's Emergency help service at any time. We've also written a really useful guide for looking after your mental health during the holidays. Stay active, stay healthy and most importantly, stay safe.
