What I Studied

BSc Politics and Philosophy

How I was involved with LSESU before becoming an officer

I had some interaction with the SU as President of Rosebery Hall, but I was mostly involved through my roles as Chair of the Creative Network and President of the Drama Society. I also co-hosted a weekly show on Pulse Radio (s/o to Get Cozy) and was a member of LSE SU Lacrosse (although I never played a game!).

What I’m looking to achieve this year

My role is very eclectic, so there are a wide range of areas I want to improve on this year, from removing red tape and spotlighting postgraduate needs, to negotiating more accessible and high-quality wellbeing support from LSE. However, in a nutshell, I want to empower students with the tools they need to effectively implement their brilliant projects, campaigns, and events. I believe the best way to bounce back our post-covid community is from the bottom-up and so the SU needs to be the vehicle that is steered towards enabling that.

One tip for making the most out of LSE

Try not to get too swept up by career prospects, live in the moment and enjoy the wealth of extra-curricular opportunities an LSE education provides. Don't be afraid to ask for help when you need it ... and get a PRET subscription.
