OLIVIA CHEN

With international visions, for international students.

My name is Olivia Chen. I am a first-year student in Politics and International Relations. I am standing for the role of International Students' Officer. Having commenced my new life at LSE for a month, I am already amazed by the diversity and inclusiveness of this international community, and I am more than willing to make my contributions to the well-being of international students.

Feeling homesick or having problems settling in? Moving into a metropolis like London can be uneasy, or even intimidating at times. Take a breath, International Students' Officer is the right person to reach out to. If I may have the great fortune to be elected, I am aiming to promote serial workshops, together with LSESU and the Language Centre, to help international students adapt to their new lives in London. Also, I am going to seek opportunities on holding more career events tailored for international students and work with various organisations to promote the career prospects of international students.

So, please do vote for me. If you have any ideas you want to talk about, I am always here, willing to engage. I believe my considerate character and sense of responsibility make me well-equipped for this position.
