THOMAS EGLIN

Keep It Social

My platform is based entirely on making sure that we have a fun year while we are abroad. My candidacy understands and appreciates our limited time in London. My objectives involve socials with LSE 3rd years to help get socially incorporated into the school without the pressure to be a part of societies or athletic teams. I promise good times and to be a fair liaison to the administration that you can always trust to advocate for your short-term interests during your one year in London.

Here are a few of my ideas:

  • Weekly on-campus casual socials during school days with free coffee for GC students
  • Drink tickets
  • An ORGANIZED but informal GC GroupMe to actively communicate about social events affiliated with and unaffiliated with LSE

I did not come all the way to LSE to not have the best experience possible, and I am sure that you feel the same. I do not go here, and I can not fix all of the school’s problems, but you can be confident that I will advocate on your behalf.

Feel free to contact me at t.c.eglin@lse.ac.uk
