DAVID JEHLICKA

WELFARE shouldn't just be SELFCARE. LSESU that works 4 U!

YOU, as a member of the LSE community deserve to be supported by your Student Union.

I will ensure that the Student Union works for you!

MY PLAN OF ACTION

Quick & simple strikes compensations

Safer campus

I have led multiple consent ed sessions and I know that SU's involvement in this area needs to improve.

  • Make consent ed opt out rather than opt in to increase the uptake

  • Consent ed sessions in all LSE halls

  • Work closely with HandsOffLSE to review the reporting process at the LSE

Centralized event calendar for all societies

Let’s create an easy to use calendar where you could easily see what's happening around LSE.

Provide students with skills to change the LSE

  • Run workshops about campaigning

  • Provide resources for campaigns

More inclusion for master students

More than 50% of LSE students are postgrads, they deserve to have specific events for their well-being and community building

  • Job application support
  • meeting postgraduates from different courses

Save Beaver

It is crucial for ensuring that student voices are heard and actions of both LSE and LSESU can be scrutinized.
