WE ARE IN THIS TOGETHER! #YASHAFORYOU

Hello, my lovelies, it’s ME, your support system in LSE!

You elected me as your BME Officer and we were successful in creating a Mental Health Guide, hosting a mental health stall and plan several events.

Now, as I gear up for more impactful and sustainable work as your “WELFARE AND LIBERATION OFFICER” – I seek your support once again to make

LSE A SAFE SPACE!

From my expertise as a Psychologist, Dance Movement Therapist and Academician I carry the following agendas:

  1. Mental Health is a necessity and not a luxury – we shouldn’t have to wait!
I advocate for Efficient Mental Health Services at LSE. We all deserve accessible and efficient Mental Health Services.
  2. Women have remarked that their prayer room isn’t accomodating – I hear you. I advocate for spacious and comfortable prayer rooms.
  3. Food at LSE is mundane and costly. Given the cost-of-living crisis, I advocate for meal subsidies and diverse food choices.
  4. LSE lacks interdepartmental socials for students. I advocate for ‘explicit inclusivity’ through monthly socials.
  5. Institutionalizing my efforts, I propose a Mental Health Podcast – recording academic, personal and cultural experiences of students.

Your needs – my agendas. We’re in this together!
