Empowering Global Minds: Being your biggest supporter and biggest critic.

With loneliness being one of the leading causes of deteriorating mental health as it often provokes issues like anxiety and depression, I honestly believe that having walked this road, I may be the hand that someone needs to hold onto when they are feeling lonely.

I understand how brave it is to leave your country and go to a new city, which is why I firmly believe that this understanding would make it possible for me to offer all the resources that international students require in a new country.

The question now is, how can we leave a mark on the world, isn't that what we're here to do? And this is where my vision comes in. As a brown woman, I will go to any length to ensure that international students are well-represented at LSESU and that our concerns are considered when decisions are made.

I pledge to provide academic assistance to international students. As I understand the impact intellectual shock has on international students, which frequently leads to imposter syndrome. I therefore believe it is imperative to include access to academic resources and support in navigating the academic system.
