VOTE TARIN FOR NATIONAL AND CULTURAL NETWORK CHAIR

As National and Cultural Network Chair, I hope to be an effective representative for all national and cultural societies at the LSE. In the last two years, I have developed a genuine appreciation for various cultures, as a member of different cultural societies and the Treasurer of Bangla Society. Hence, I hope to use my skills from these experiences and roles with many other national and cultural societies.

Aims:

  • Represent all cultures, and work with all national and cultural societies at the LSE
  • Celebrate International Mother Tongue Language Day, ensuring that we greatly commemorate this day to learn and recognise different cultures
  • Promote Annual Global Village, whether it be online or in person, ensuring that there is wide participation and including more cultural and national societies
  • Recognise national independence days in the SU calendar
  • Hold an end of year cultural event to celebrate all cultures

=> This candidate is supported by the Energy society, the Anthropology society, the Hayek society, the Debate society, the Yoga society, the United Nations society,  the Geography and Environment society and the Equality in Education society.
