FOR EXPERIENCE AND SKILL, VOTE PHIL

WHY ME?

I am a Master’s in Management student, nominating myself for LSE Council. As an LSE First Class Law graduate, I hope to use my experience and skills to ensure that the School’s strategy is aligned with its educational mission.

I have strong experience dealing with the LSESU:

  • Business and Investment Group (Vice-President) – the largest student society;
  • LSE Futsal Club (1st team and Outreach Officer) – received our first “club of the year award”;
  • Microfinance Society (Initiative Officer) – increased membership by 150%.

WHY LSE COUNCIL?

Elected as student representative (160+ cohort) this year, I hope to also make a difference at the LSE-level.

Having studied Company Law and completed internships at US corporate law firms and most recently Goldman Sachs, I seek to ensure that LSE’s Council fulfil their responsibilities and in particular, that financial decisions are prudent, sustainable and directed towards the heart of LSE, its students.
