ABOUT ME
I’m Sarah, a 2nd year PhD student at the European Institute, researching the role of whiteness in German primary schooling.
EXPERIENCE
- Co-authored an interview-based report on COVID-19’s impact on LSE PhD students; currently working with the PhD Academy to share the findings and implement our recommendations

POLICIES
- Making the LSE PhD experience more equitable and inclusive
- equalising LSE Studentship conditions
- supporting vulnerable and marginalised students (including researchers with caring responsibilities, externally funded students), assessing their needs, and providing tailored programming (workshops, peer networks, etc.)
- Working with the PhD Academy to organise events addressing the methodological and professional challenges raised by COVID-19 and to provide up-to-date information on fieldwork return/archive access
- Lobbying that PhD students' campus access is prioritised and campaigning for home office expenditure funding
