DHWANI GOEL

RESILIENCE IN THE FACE OF ADVERSITY

With 3 years of experience as a student representative, I aim to ensure that our (online) time at LSE matches previous standards. I am not afraid to speak up, I am committed to transparency and inclusivity, and I will make myself available to communicate with you

Goals:

  • Monitor the quality of (online/hybrid) education
    1. Improve the course enrolment system through better communication about available spots on courses.
    2. Longer library booking timings since the 110 minutes/thrice a week rule is not enough.
    3. Ensure that academic quality is consistent especially for those who haven’t arrived in London.
  • Facilitate social interaction
    1. Build student-based support groups to help each other academically and socially.
    2. Provide opportunities to interact with the department and staff members.
  • Job market preparation
    1. Provide support on navigating a tougher job market via LSE careers.
    2. Organize information sessions on the two-year post study visa for internationals.
