Hello everyone, My name is Avinash. I am from India. I am currently pursuing MSc Operations Research and Analytics on a Chevening Scholarship. In my professional career spanning 8 years, I have gained experience in financial regulation, investment banking, and transport and logistics. I have worked with people from all walks of life influencing decision making at different levels in the public sector, private sector, autonomous regulatory body and in the government sector as a Civil Servant. 

The LSE Student council primarily advises about financial matters and oversees decisions about the educational character and mission of the School.  Due to my extensive work experience, I believe I will be able to add tremendous value to the decision-making process at LSE as a student council member. I also wish to act as a facilitator for escalating the concerns of the student community at the council level.
