Information on the session & skill:

Negotiating is all about trying to reach an agreement. This can be done in a number of ways through discussion based work or providing evidence.

At some point in the future you may be required to argue your corner and present your case. Here you can learn how to develop facts to support you and make sure you are prepared to stand your ground

 

Beyond the Classroom: Skills Sessions

This is a qualifying session under the LSESU Leadership Accreditation.

LSESU Beyond the Classroom is an employability training programme designed to provide you with the opportunity to develop, learn and grow.

The programme offers a series of free, skills-based workshops on topics such as Managing Conflict; Public Speaking; Sponsorship; Campaigns; Event Management; and Social Media. Last year the programme received an 88% satisfaction rate from attendees and we put on a number of brand new sessions such as First Aid; Sign Language; and Coding. Sessions have been delivered by leading charities and companies, such as EY, the ONE Campaign, Teach First, and experienced advisers from LSE Careers and LSE Students’ Union.
